Meet Attorney Christina Essex, Your Advocate

For over 15 years, I've dedicated my career to navigating the complex intersection of healthcare, litigation, and regulations. I've represented everyone from solo practitioners to large provider groups, and I've seen firsthand what works—and what doesn't.

I founded Essex Law Firm for one simple reason: to do things differently.

I saw too many good doctors facing career-altering legal problems. They felt overwhelmed by the process, anxious about their reputation and license, and frustrated by unpredictable legal bills.

I was raised in Georgia and graduated from Woodward Academy. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Georgia. I have defended healthcare professionals in all 3 states. I relocated back home to Georgia during the COVID-19 pandemic where I continued to represent healthcare professionals.

In addition to my legal career, I am a wife and mother to 3 kids as well as an avid soccer mom. I am also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Proactive Principal Group, LLC - a physician advocacy and consulting firm - where I provide non-legal consulting to doctors who do not need a lawyer yet but are looking for guidance, clarity, or a sounding board. Simply put, I help physicians navigate the legal and business challenges of practicing medicine by providing them with tools, strategies, and education. My new focus at Proactive Principal Group is navigating the intersection of healthcare law and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.).
